1. Sign in to Albacross
Go to Albacross and log in with your account.
If you don’t already have an account, create one — you’ll need it to generate your unique tracking script.
2. Get Your Tracking Script
In the Albacross dashboard, navigate to Settings → Tracking code.
Copy the JavaScript snippet provided. This is your unique tracking code.
3. Add the Code to Shopify
You have two main options: using the Shopify theme editor or Google Tag Manager (if you use it already).
Option A: Install via Shopify Theme Editor
In your Shopify Admin, go to Online Store → Themes.
Click Actions → Edit code for your active theme.
In the file list, open theme.liquid (usually found under Layout).
Paste your Albacross tracking code just before the closing

tag.Save the changes.
Option B: Install via Shopify Admin Preferences
In Shopify Admin, go to Online Store → Preferences.
Scroll down to Google Analytics or Additional scripts (depending on your setup).
Paste the Albacross tracking code there.
Save.
4. Verify Installation
Return to the Albacross dashboard.
Within a few minutes to hours, data should start appearing under your account (company visits, lead info, etc.).
To test faster, you can use your browser’s developer tools to check that the script is loaded on your Shopify storefront.
5. Optional – Use Google Tag Manager (GTM)
If you already use GTM for other scripts:
Go to GTM → Tags → New.
Create a Custom HTML tag and paste in your Albacross script.
Set a trigger for “All Pages.”
Save and publish.
✅ That’s it — your Shopify store is now connected to Albacross. You’ll be able to track which companies visit your store, capture lead data, and enrich your sales pipeline.
After you install the tracking script it can take up to 24h to start tracking companies!
